ash

Ash is highly valued due to being more resilient than oak, has a beautiful texture, is comparatively heavy and has a unique aromal. The heartwood is grey-brown in colour, with occasional reddish-brown tones, texture is coarse, but very even.
 
Ash is primarily used as a raw material for furniture, but also in the production of other interior products and floor coverings. Our Ash is high quality – it has virtually no defects or burls. It is ideal for high quality products.
 
Our Ash lumber is kiln dried down to 8 ±2% moisture content  and offered in thicknesses of 26 and 32 mm and widths of 102, 127, 152, 178 and 203 mm.
